The Institutes Community, an online social platform through which insurance and risk management professionals can gain insights, tips and inspiration to help them advance in their careers and can network with other industry professionals, has been redesigned with new features and a new look for an improved user experience.

Based on direct feedback from Community members, the overhauled site now offers:

  •     A blog subscription feature, allowing news of industry trends, personal stories and more to go straight to members’ email inboxes
  •     Improved search filters to help users find content quickly and easily
  •     Simple ways to network and connect with other industry professionals
  •     Access from a smartphone or tablet to the website’s new, mobile-friendly design

“After working to better understand our members’ needs, we spent several months developing a new site design with new features to meet those needs, which we are really excited about,” said Kim Cavallero, director of social media and communities at The Institutes. “We are grateful to the many members who shared their candid insights with us. It enabled us to build a Community that we believe is easier for our more than 130,000 members to use, while providing helpful career resources.”

With the enhanced navigation and knowledge and insight shared through the blog posts, The Institutes Community serves as a valuable industry resource, helping insurance and risk management professionals succeed in their careers.

The Institutes have a strong presence on other social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, and offer access to The Community to provide additional opportunities for Institutes students and professionals to connect and gain industry knowledge.
