Performance High Launches $4500 Scholarship Including Year of Voice Lessons

Adrienne Osborn, founder and lead vocal instructor of Colorado rock/pop vocal studio Performance High, announces the first annual Nail Every Note Vocal Scholarship (, anchored by a year of private voice lessons with Adrienne.

“Working with her was so much fun that it inspired me to do something much bigger: create an annual vocalist scholarship,” Osborn says.

The scholarship, so far worth about $4500, includes resources for commercial-style vocalists from Tom Jackson Productions in Nashville, Ariel Hyatt from CyberPR in New York, Denver music business consultant Katey Laurel, Denver-based Long Music Consulting, and Australian software company Cantovation.

Adrienne decided to create the scholarship when she gave some lessons to a young student overflowing with potential, talent, and energy, but without financial resources to pay for lessons. “Working with her was so much fun that it inspired me to do something much bigger: create an annual vocalist scholarship,” Osborn says.

She built the scholarship package to include more than just private voice lessons by contacting several other companies and individuals across the country she has worked with in the past. So far, they have contributed a total of over $2000 of additional resources.

The scholarship name refers to Performance High's flagship vocal training product, Nail Every Note: Your Voice. Better, which Adrienne released at the end of 2014. The product is also included in the scholarship package.

Adrienne, previously a software developer and world-ranked waterskier, has been a vocal coach for six years and has worked with thousands of students. She and her team of teachers at Performance High focus on commercial and popular singing. The studio has worked with many of the lead singers in Colorado's rock bands including Rick Roberts of the band Firefall, recently inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, and two American Idol finalists, Casey Abrams and Su Charles.

This year's scholarship application period is May 1 through June 30, 2015. The scholarship recipient will be announced in early July. The winner will be selected based on motivation, talent, drive, and growth potential. More information can be found at
