Wiser’s latest addition to its suite of retail products will help retailers improve their assortment.

With different channels competing with one another, Wiser wants to democratize the selling experience for online retailers that are selling on such a vast marketplace.

Today Wiser, the premiere retail price intelligence and repricing engine, announced a new product to its suite of solutions called Amazon Assortment. It allows Amazon sellers to monitor their competitors’ inventories on Amazon, as well as any webstore. That way, sellers can make sure they are not missing any products that could greatly improve their bottom line.

Wiser’s CEO, Arie Shpanya, explains, “Amazon is easily the most competitive channel for online retailers. Not only do they have to compete with retailers of different sizes, but they also have to contend with Amazon itself. That means that their assortment and pricing are extremely important. Amazon Assortment is a new tool Wiser developed to help retailers provide the right products at the right price without all the guesswork.”

After collecting inventory data from Amazon’s most popular products, Wiser’s Amazon Assortment can integrate directly with Wiser’s Amazon Repricer. It can provide suggestions as to what products are worth carrying, and which ones will be hard to sell at a decent price. It shows retailers different ratings and reviews for those products to help them decide if they want to carry the item or not.

The retail industry is hyper-competitive, and sometimes it’s best to pass on certain products that everyone else carries. Amazon Assortment can show sellers how many other retailers are carrying the product, and whether Amazon is carrying it or not. If a large number of retailers are selling a product at a price the seller cannot afford, Amazon Assortment can prevent retailers from making a costly inventory mistake.

On top of that, Amazon Assortment comes with a pricing analyst that will work with retailers to help them find the best opportunities in their product assortments.
