The new patent (USPA No. 13/509,169) has been awarded to AU10TIX for a more effective approach for screening and authenticating ID documents – especially under non-optimal image quality conditions which characterizes today’s multi-channel environment. AU10TIX’s adaptive, modular approach helps increase success rates and speed up auto-classification, extraction and authentication of government issued picture IDs mandated by KYC regulations for customer onboarding.

The patent awarded to AU10TIX encompasses the complete process of customer ID image recognition, authentication and record generation. AU10TIX’s novel approach incorporates tolerance and adaptation of processing to the quality variations and “noises” that are so typical to images taken under diverse conditions. AU10TIX’s patented technology acts to improve success rates under non-optimal image qualities and match each one with a relevant set of authentication checks.

“This is a seal of approval to our next-generation technology which is best suited for today’s multi-channel environment,” says Ron Atzmon, Managing Director of AU10TIX: “The analogy is like having an 80s car vs. today’s car with onboard engine computer. They will both take you from point A to point B, but at a whole different level of adaptive efficiency and accuracy. That is why we simply ask new clients, especially those who tried conventional solutions, to simply see this technology live at work.”

“A technology paradigm change is not that common,” says Ofer Friedman, VP Marketing of AU10TIX: “Especially one that opens up a whole new set of capabilities. Fact is fact. This is the only technology that enables 100% automation of the complete process of Secure Customer Onboarding: from auto-classification and screening to multi-layer authentication and record generation. This is the only technology that does it that fast and can handle ID images at such borderline quality levels. This patent is another seal of approval to what our clients already know. “
