In conjunction with the World Health Organization’s “Save Lives: Clean Your Hands” Day on May 5th, etrainu, a leader in online training and business solutions, has released a free interactive “Ultimate Guide to Hand Washing” course.

etrainu’s course offers users the opportunity to learn about the power and impact of hand hygiene, what hand hygiene is, and the best practice procedures.

“We developed this training course because we know the importance of hand hygiene is not limited to just the healthcare and food service-related industries, but also everyday life,” said etrainu Founder Natalie Scopelliti.

“Save Lives: Clean Your Hands” Day is a global movement that was initiated by the World Health Organization seven years ago to raise awareness and to stress the importance of hand hygiene. The day is a part of the global agency’s “Clean Care Is Safer Care” program that is celebrating its 10th year of operation. Last year’s “Save Lives: Clean Your Hands Day” received more than 17,000 registrations from 171 countries, potentially saving millions of lives.

“etrainu’s free training can be used by companies as a competency measure by all staff to reduce the risks associated with hand hygiene and also to decrease the spread of illness in the workplace,” added Scopelliti.

The interactive “Ultimate Guide to Hand Washing” course is available now via http://etrainu.com/free-hand-washing-online-training/. For a list of extensive resources on the importance of hand hygiene, check out the World Health Organization’s website at http://www.who.int/gpsc/5may/en/.
