In America to feature new content on Hearing Aids, with James Earl Jones
(PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- A new feature of the program IN AMERICA, hosted by James Earl Jones, will focus on hearing aids. The episode will be looking at the newest technology in hearing aids, and recent studies on hearing loss and prevention.
35 million Americans are suffering from hearing loss and the number is increasing, according to a studies. Of these 35 million, 25 million do not use a hearing aid for various reasons. Hearing loss may be caused by a wide range of things including genetics, jobs, and military careers.
Hearing aids are not just useful tools to improve hearing, they may actually reduce cognitive decline as well. The study was done on a limited area, and they recognize that people who can actually afford hearing aids are more wealthy and more likely to take better care of themselves overall. However the study is a great start to broader research to determine the link between hearing loss and cognitive decline.
