It’s a great opportunity for anyone really to make an additional income stream from the comfort of their own home.

A new tech start-up that helps Amazon sellers find products that can make between 30 and 75 per cent profit after all fees launched in the UK.

ProfitSourcery, an online market intelligence tool, which is the first to market in the UK, searches through millions of products from online stores and provides its members with a list of items that they can sell for a profit on Amazon.

Traditionally, those selling on Amazon have had to spend days, if not months, researching products that will make them money. Amazon offers great value and this makes it difficult to source products that can sell for a significant margin after seller’s fees have been removed.

ProfitSourcery takes the time and effort out of this process. It provides its members with an easy to use dashboard of bespoke products to select from and links them to the retailers so that they can buy their stock directly.

ProfitSourcery is the brainchild of entrepreneur, Ed Brooks, who has worked in product innovation for some of the worlds’ biggest tech companies including BT, Energis and Star Internet. His last company won ‘Startup of the Year’ from ESTNET, the Electronic and Software Technologies Network for Wales.

Ed Brooks, founder of ProfitSourcery, says, “ProfitSourcery has been almost two years in the making. Our team of talented developers and coders have worked relentlessly to bring our system to market and we are proud to be the first market intelligence tool of our kind in the UK.

“A lot of people don’t realise they can sell on Amazon, but more than 40 per cent of all products sold on the world’s biggest ecommerce site are supplied by individual traders and businesses rather than Amazon itself. One of the main reasons we created ProfitSourcery was because we realised how easy the Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) service made it to sell products and make money online. It’s a great opportunity for anyone to really make an additional income stream from the comfort of their own home.

“Our system and training support can help anyone set up an Amazon store.

“It sounds too good to be true but it’s based on a very simple idea – comparing big data sets. Everyone talks about big data and this is a perfect example of how people can benefit from actionable intelligence generated from big data techniques.

“We have a robust selection process that helps ensure that the lists of products make a substantial profit after seller’s fees. Only one in every 1000 products that we search meets the criteria.”

If you want to get your hands on the data that ProfitSourcery gives you access to, you’d better be quick, there are only 500 places available in the initial launch phase and membership will be capped at 3,000 to ensure sellers keep a competitive edge.

Those wanting to try the system out can do so using ProfitSourcery’s seven day free trial. The starter package at £17 per month gives you access to 75 new products each month, as well as full access to training and support. Those who want to make a much bigger profit and access 250 products a month can sign up to the merchant account that costs £77 per month. Product lists are refreshed daily with ten new opportunities (merchant tier).
