Building a network of 20,000 locations is a milestone we're really proud of, validating the extent we consistently go in understanding and meeting the needs of the nation's top providers and their customers.

MINES & Associates (MINES), a nationally recognized business psychology firm, today announced that that it’s reached a major milestone in expanding its provider network to 20,000 locations nationwide. The network includes over 12,000 individual providers, contracts with over 100 hospitals across the country and maintains relationships with 90 plus residential facilities nationwide. This allows MINES to better serve its clients across the country, providing employees with flexible access to top tier counseling, resources and treatment facilities, a primary reason MINES has been able to achieve utilization rates far above the industry average.

MINES has consistently grown its network over the past 34 years by being provider and user- friendly: new providers are processed within 72 hours of signing up and receive support from a dedicated case management team to ensure that their clients are getting the best level of care for their clinical needs. MINES even makes live advocates available to make sure that that all providers receive payments in a timely manner. The network also assures continuity of treatment by making it possible for therapists to continue seeing clients even when they've changed networks; preventing disruption in treatment is a major plus for clients who have developed trusting relationships with their therapists. Further driving the growth of the network are the cost savings MINES delivers by offering pre-negotiated network discounts, allowing clients to contain the costs that would otherwise be incurred by the elimination of session limits mandated by the Mental Health Parity act. Clients realize additional cost savings via flexible Disease Management programs that give users the tools, guidance and motivation to proactively change the unhealthy behaviors that often lead to expensive chronic conditions.

"Building a network of 20,000 locations is a milestone we're really proud of, and not because it's a nice round number -- but because it validates the extent we consistently go in understanding and meeting the needs of the nation's top providers and their clients," said Sheila Stander, Supervisor of Provider Relations for MINES.

Said Dr. Robert Mines, CEO, "Ultimately, our success as a company is based on the quality and variety of the services we offer, and the ease with which users can access the help they need. Today's announcement is a tribute to over three decades of our single-minded commitment to changing lives for the better, and gives us an opportunity to thank all the dedicated therapists and support staff who share our commitment."
