Lower Gwynedd-based practice, which makes house calls, has joined Abington Health Physicians.

Abington is pleased to announce that Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Wellness, a physician practice with seven medical professionals, has joined Abington Health Physicians. The practice was the eighth primary-care site in the United States to be recognized as the highest level patient-centered medical home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

Family Medicine, Geriatrics and Wellness provides primary, preventative and sick care – including routine gynecology care and minor office procedures – for all members of the family. The physicians and staff also treat patients in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in addition to making house calls for homebound patients. Appointments are offered during day, evening and weekend hours.

Located in Lower Gwynedd Township, the board-certified physicians and advanced-practice professionals include Joseph F. Mambu, M.D.; Hillary Marcus, M.D.; Margarita McDonald, M.D.; Judi Anne Keightly, C.R.N.P.; Marie Sheedy, C.R.N.P.; Christine Bradley, C.R.N.P.; and Amy Rosenberg, C.R.N.P.
