The San Diego Big BIM Event, a half-day seminar hosted by U.S. CAD and designed to introduce new 2016 BIM and CAD technologies, successfully attracted over 120 attendees to its annual BBQ and networking event.
A spin-off of the monthly San Diego Big BIM Theory user group, the Big BIM Event offered many attendees their first glimpse of the new Autodesk 2016 features. Chris Keck, Director of Professional Services with U.S. CAD, opened the seminar with a look at InfraWorks 360 while Autodesk’s own Scott Davis presented and fielded questions about Revit 2016 and the new Collaboration for Revit solution.
“The event was a great success and demonstrated the growing demand for education and collaboration among the building and design community,” states Vince Aman, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing at U.S. CAD. “In today’s competitive market, companies need every advantage they can get, and a better understanding of how your software can be effectively leveraged can give you that edge. That’s why U.S. CAD is dedicated to hosting events like this, where our clients and other users have an opportunity to learn how they can grow their business.”
U.S. CAD is also sponsoring the upcoming Mountain States BIM Workshops in Phoenix, Arizona from June 11th to 12th, 2015. Learn more about this two-day Revit training and networking conference at http://www.bim-workshops.com.
