Holland & Hart is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Neil Hoffman, as Of Counsel, in the firm’s commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense practices. A former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Enforcement attorney, Hoffman brings significant expertise counseling clients through government and self-regulatory organization investigations and proceedings, internal investigations, and securities and commercial litigation matters.

Hoffman regularly represents clients in proceedings before government and self-regulatory organizations, including the SEC, Department of Justice, Internal Revenue Service, various states’ Attorneys General and securities divisions, PCAOB, and FINRA. He has experience handling a broad range of issues, including public company disclosure, accounting, and controls questions; FCPA concerns; potential insider trading; issues concerning regulated entities; data security breach matters; stock option backdating; and FIRREA matters. Hoffman also litigates shareholder class actions, derivative lawsuits, and commercial disputes in the federal and state courts. He has tried or arbitrated over twenty cases.
