Super Cheap Car Rental Announces Their “Change for Change” Program
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- Super Cheap Car Rental is taking a philanthropic spin on loose change. The popular rental company is introducing the “Change for Change” program to increase their humanitarian influence on their communities. The program will run for the length of the year, and will be in support of The Arc, formerly known as “The Association for Retarded Citizens.”
The program “Change for Change” is a simple one. All change left in the rental vehicles will be collected in the cleaning process and put in a general pool. By the end of the year, Super Cheap will match the amount of money that has been saved up over the year and the entire sum will be donated to The Arc.
The Arc now supports more than 100 diagnosed intellectual and developmental conditions. These include Down Syndrome, autism, Fragile X syndrome, and other development disabilities. The Arc supports people of all ages. The Arc is the largest national community-based organization that advocates for and serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. It operates on a grassroots level to offer major assistance.
Super Cheap Owner Steve Bernard said, “Super Cheap hopes to boost our community involvement and contribute to the greater good of our nation.” Super Cheap’s other owner Danny Barker added, “We are using the Change for Change program to take an active role in our collective communities.”
