PeopleSpace Hosted NASA Space Apps Challenge in Irvine
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- The NASA International Space Apps Challenge was held at PeopleSpace on April 11-12, 2015. Entrepreneurs, techy-savvy citizens, scientists, innovators, and students were buzzing from the supply of caffeine on-hand but mostly from the ingenious ideas rattling around in their heads. NASA posed 35 Earth-themed challenges in areas of Earth studies, space exploration, human health research, and robotics. The atmosphere was charged with the silence of genius at work. The open-source and open-collaborative aspect of this event encouraged participants to work with one another, across teams and specialties.

It is the existence of creative spaces and collaborative-centric events like these that encourages the growth of high-tech developments in Irvine. The city itself has its very own think tank.
