She serves as the Executive Director for the Historic Society; her philanthropic dedication has led to an on-going partnership with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. She co-authored the book Images of America: Miami’s Richmond Heights which was read into the United States Congressional Record and her commitment to community service has led to her being a nominee for a 2015 African American Achiever Award.
She has penned speeches for the Mayor of the City of Atlanta, delivered the morning news for WEDR 99 Jamz, and oversaw Arrow Records/Universal Records to chart four albums in Billboard Magazine. She has spoken at Florida International University, Miami Dade College, and the University of Miami. She is a founding board member for the Miami HBCU Alumni Alliance.
