The infographic is designed to help green industry business owners understand some of the key information found in HindSite's recent survey of green industry businesses.
Benchmarking Your Green Industry Business is based on a comprehensive survey of hundreds of landscapers, lawn maintenance businesses, irrigation service and installation businesses and snow removal professionals. The survey was compiled to create the third annual Green Industry Benchmark Report, which analyzed the challenges, services offered, sales and marketing tactics and office and software practices of a typical green industry business. The 32-page report is comprised of charts, graphs and analysis that help green industry business owners better understand how their peers operate.
"The Green Industry Benchmark Report is the most popular piece of content we release, with more than 300 downloads in the two months it’s been available," explained HindSite's Marketing Manager, Chad Reinholz. "But there’s a lot of information in it. So we created an infographic that makes it a little easier to digest the key information found in the report."
Among the information represented in the infographic:

The most surprising result in the infographic may be just how well HindSite’s customers fared when compared to their peers. For example, 35% of HindSite’s customers that responded to the survey saw year-over-year revenue growth in excess of 20%. Compare that to 24% of respondents using a competitors’ field service software solution, and just 16% of those not using any software.
"We’ve always known our customers perform better than their peers," explained Reinholz. "But we were surprised how much better they fared. The average contractor saw growth of 6-10%. But the average HindSite customer grew by more than 20%."
