Ballroom Redesign Announced for Grand Hyatt Denver, a downtown Denver Hotel
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- Grand Hyatt Denver announces plans to remodel its two largest ballrooms and accompanying foyers, plus eleven breakout session meeting rooms, as part of an estimated $5.4 million redesign project.
“The renovation of Grand Hyatt Denver’s group event and social meeting space, enhances the more than $28 million renovation recently completed in the hotel’s 516 guestrooms and public spaces,” said Mark Stiebeling, general manager, Grand Hyatt Denver. “The new, innovative and dynamic design shows our passion and enthusiasm for providing an abundance of options, creating dramatic and exciting atmospheres in which to enjoy spectacular experiences.”
Slated to debut in September, the redesign will offer planners 30,000 square feet of newly decorated meeting and exhibit space, with décor by renowned architect Looney and Associates. The space will receive carpeting and wall coverings in patterns that are inspired by the Mile High City’s urban grid, in tones of grey and sunset rusts; a nod to Colorado’s vibrant, outdoor landscapes. The use of natural materials and dark walnut mill work will complement custom light fixtures that provide a soft and flattering glow. Free-standing columns, refreshed elevator lobbies and ballroom doors create an unmistakable sense of arrival.
Grand Hyatt Denver's meeting and event space will deliver a fresh, modern aesthetic that reflects Denver’s bustling, dynamic spirit and the Grand Hyatt brand’s commitment to #LivingGrand every day.
