Commission on Dietetic Registration Approves Two Pediatric Feeding Courses Offered by Education Resources Inc.
Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- The SOS Approach to Feeding is a transdisciplinary program for assessing and treating children with feeding and weight growth difficulties. It has been developed over the course of 20 years through the clinical work of internationally renowned pediatric psychologist Dr. Kay Toomey, in conjunction with colleagues from several different disciplines including pediatricians, occupational therapists, registered dieticians, and speech pathologists. Education Resources Inc. is pleased to partner with Alabama Department of Rehab Services to bring Picky Eaters vs. Problem Feeders to Montgomery, Alabama June 11th-14th, and with Providence Portland Medical Center to bring this course to Portland, Oregon November 12th-15th. This activity has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 22.5 CPEUs for Days 1-3, and 7.5 CPEUs for Day 4.
Solving Complex Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Problems focuses on problem solving for infants and children with complex swallowing and feeding issues. Joan Arvedson, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, an internationally renowned clinician and teacher, provides participants invaluable learning through lecture, videos, and case analyses.
