KioWare Announces KioCloud, a New, Subscription-based Kiosk Management Solution Hosted by KioWare

KioWare has expanded its long standing Kiosk Management product line with KioCloud, a KioWare hosted, subscription-based kiosk management solution. KioCloud will enable those running KioWare or Kiosk Pro client side kiosk software (running Android, Windows, or iOS) to manage their kiosks remotely, view usage statistics, and monitor kiosk health via any connected browser.

With KioCloud, KioWare manages the technical kiosk server hosting, allowing users to get started quickly and focus on deploying and managing client side kiosks rather than setting up and managing an internal kiosk server.

Analytical Design Solutions Inc. (ADSI) announces an addition to their Kiosk Management product offerings, new subscription based KioCloud.

Kiosk Management consists of two components: the client side kiosk software and the browser-based server console. The client side kiosk software (KioWare Full for Windows, KioWare Full for Android or Kiosk Pro Plus & Kiosk Pro Enterprise for iOS) runs locally on the machine to secure the device, and the server console (KioCloud, KioWare Server, or KioWare Server ASP) is used to interact with and provide reports for the secured devices.

With KioCloud, KioWare manages the technical kiosk server hosting, allowing users to get started quickly and focus on deploying and managing client side kiosks rather than setting up and managing an internal kiosk server. A subscription is required, with annual billing currently available and quarterly/monthly billing coming in future updates. KioCloud supports one site per subscription.

For large scale, long term deployments, KioWare Server, KioWare’s perpetual, self-hosted kiosk management option will likely provide a more cost effective solution for Windows & Android device management. To manage multiple client sites, KioWare Server ASP provides enterprise management options.

All KioWare client side products can be used to secure devices such as tablets, desktops, and smartphones running Android or Windows Operating Systems. KioWare kiosk software products lock down your device into kiosk mode, which secures the overall operating system, home screen and usage of applications.
