OpaJUMP! Launches First Studio In Bernardsville Focused On Urban Rebounding Fitness

Starting May 11, opaJUMP! will be the first studio to offer dedicated trampoline fitness classes 7 days a week at the O-PA! Performance Academy in downtown Bernardsville. Classes will utilize specially engineered mini-trampolines along with a newly developed curriculum to strengthen and tone the body while having fun.

NASA astronauts, celebrities like Megan Fox, and fitness gurus like Tracy Anderson all agree that using a trampoline is one of the best forms of exercise. Now coming to Bernardsville on May 11th, opaJUMP! will be the first studio to offer dedicated trampoline fitness classes 7 days a week at the O-PA! Performance Academy in downtown Bernardsville. Technically referred to as rebound fitness, opaJUMP! classes will utilize specially engineered mini-trampolines along with a newly developed curriculum to strengthen and tone the body while having fun. Classes will be held weekdays beginning 6:15 a.m. to 5:45 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

There are no other rebound classes offered in the fitness market that match the experience at opaJUMP! In each opaJUMP! class, participants will utilize all 638 muscles in the body and can burn up to 700 calories in one hour. Each class engages the core and firms the entire body with targeted exercises for the arms, legs, thighs and hips. Individual-trampoline exercises are considered to be one of the quickest, most joint-friendly ways to gain cardiovascular fitness, lose weight and create lean muscle. With names like JUMP-HIIT!, JUMP-START!, and JUMP-BARRE FUSION!, the class schedule offers a mix that targets a variety of muscle groups and avoids monotony. JUMP-HIIT! is high intensity interval training but has the added benefit of being joint-friendly and shock-free. JUMP-START! is developed for beginners and those wanting to lose weight as it stokes the metabolism, tones, and is complimented by opaJUMP’s! instructor-led weight loss support group and nutrition class. JUMP-BARRE FUSION! was developed by a ballet dancer and former Rockette and is a fusion of ballet fundamentals, stretching, core, and cardio-blasts to provide a total body workout for long, lean muscles. Additional classes will be offered in June.

Parents and new moms will love opaJUMP!’s “KidFIT™ “and “BABY-oh-BABY” classes offered during the same hours as many of the jump classes. For pre-schoolers thru age six, classes will be held during adult opaJUMP! classes, KidFIT providing young children an educational, play-based movement and sports class that helps develop balance, focus, body control, proprioception, and cooperative skills using various kid-friendly fitness and sports activities while having a lot of fun. A 30-day unlimited new client special will be available for $99, single classes will be $25, 5-class package discounted to $118, and $212 for a 10-class package. KidFIT classes will only be $12 per session available in 5-class packs with a “Sibling Special” discount if there is more than 1 child in a family.
