Urgent Care Now: New Name, Same Great Care
Manahawkin, NJ (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- Manahawkin Urgent Care of New Jersey is changing its name to Urgent Care Now, effective as of May 1. The sites in Manahawkin and Lacey Township will remain open with regularly scheduled hours during the name change. Walk-ins are always encouraged!
The Urgent Care Now facility in Manahawkin has been open for 10 years, providing the Manahawkin community and surrounding areas with quality care at convenient times. Urgent Care Now in Lanoka Harbor location opened in January of 2015, and is already applying the new brand name. A third location will also be opening in Toms River during the summer of 2015.
With these new additions to the practice, the changed name will serve to unify all locations, rather than focusing on the initial building in Manahawkin. This one, unified company will provide the same patient care and treatment that Manahawkin has for the past decade. John Kulin, DO, FACEP, President and Founder of Urgent Care Now, says: “We are looking forward to being able to offer our treatment and care to a larger community. This rebranding is an opportunity for us to help more people get the care they need, when they need it.”
The Urgent Care Now family provides a variety of care for patients of all ages who walk into the offices, such as: laceration repair, treatment of minor broken bones, upper respiratory illnesses, CDL physicals, drug screenings, pre-employment physicals and treatment of work-related injuries.
About Urgent Care Now
Opening on September 12, 2005, what was then called Occupational Medicine South began as a small facility with less than 10 employees, including physicians. Over the past decade, the privately owned group has expanded in both location and in employees, moving first to Lanoka Harbor and expanding to more than 50 employees in total, and planning to move into Toms River in the summer of 2015. The Manahawkin site received the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Ambulatory Health Care Accreditation in December of 2013 and both sites are Accredited Urgent Care Center through the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA).
