Kimberly Mary knows the stress relocating a senior can put on a family – she’s been through it herself. That’s why she’s looking forward to providing relocation and estate clearing services to her hometown through her new business, Caring Transitions of Fort Collins/Loveland.

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource specializing in managing relocations for seniors and busy families as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, decluttering, moving and resettling, Caring Transitions can handle on-site and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Kim’s local franchise serves Fort Collins, Loveland and the surrounding communities.

Kim comes from a background of local family business. She previously owned a Great Steak & Potato Company and her family owned Russell Funeral Home, C&W Transportation and Lee’s Cyclery. Her most recent work has been in education and consulting and she has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing.

“I always knew I’d enjoy working with seniors. In October 2014, when my 89-year-old grandma needed to be put into assisted living, I saw the stress that situation put on her and my family and the need for a service like Caring Transitions,” Kim said. “That was the catalyst for me opening this business.”

“I’m looking forward to owning a company that can make challenging and emotional situations less of a burden for families in my community,” she added.

In addition to the experience she brings to the business, Kim is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. Caring Transitions of Fort Collins/Loveland is bonded and insured.

Kim was born and raised in Fort Collins and she graduated from Thompson Valley High School. She is married to Stephane and has two sons and three step-children.
