In a recent companywide announcement, Bradley Siler CPA CGMA, chief financial officer at Graebel Companies, Inc. disclosed his new finance and accounting organizational structure for the global relocation and mobility management firm. Earlier this year, Graebel Companies divested its U.S. household goods moving services divisions, as it launched a new global era of growth and innovation. The Company’s finance and accounting departments have strategically streamlined its service groups into four functional areas to efficiently and effectively deliver highest-quality services for its Global 100 and Fortune 500 clients worldwide.
The functional financial and accounting areas have been named: Corporate support services, accounting services, financial planning and analysis, and financial governance. This transformation became effective immediately.
Core responsibilities for the Corporate Support Services team include companywide contract administration pricing, treasury, in addition to compliance, risk mitigation and management roles. Accounting Services shall manage all day-to-day accounting activities that are performed both domestically in the U.S. and the Graebel international offices. Financial planning and analysis will lead the firm’s reporting and analysis functions, prepare business forecasts and planning tools. This group has also been tasked with the review, and development of reporting standards that include all customer reports and requests and Graebel management reports. Lastly, the Graebel Financial Governance group will lead the standardization and will streamline present day and future financial processes and systems. This group shall be responsible for the organization’s compliance of standard accounting activities.
