MiniCo Insurance Agency Adds Ladder Safety to its Safety and Loss Control Video Series for the Self-Storage Industry
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 06, 2015 -- MiniCo Insurance Agency is continuing its ongoing initiative to create a series of safety and loss control videos and other resources that can be utilized by self-storage owners, operators and managers. A third video entitled “Ladder Safety” has been added to the “MiniCo Safety Shorts” video series, which is available online at http://www.minico.com/SafetyVideos as well as http://www.youtube.com/MiniCoInsurance.
Ladders are a commonly used tool at self-storage facilities, and the potential for injury is high if proper safety guidelines are not followed. MiniCo’s new video “Ladder Safety” provides information and safety tips to educate facility owners and managers and create awareness of potentially unsafe ladder usage.
Topics addressed in the video include choosing the right ladder, ladder safety rules, ladder inspection tips, guidelines for safely positioning ladders, and the safest techniques for ascending and descending ladders.
MiniCo President and CEO Mike Schofield said, “Unsafe ladder usage can result in injuries to employees and self-storage tenants. Previous videos in the series addressed tenant safety for self-storage managers and preventing slips, trips and falls. Future videos are planned on a variety of safety topics relevant to self-storage professionals. Each video will include a link to a quiz designed to reinforce the viewer’s retention of the subject matter.
