What We Make “Opens Up Shop” for Summer Pop-In-Shop and Open House
Hampshire, IL (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- The reclaimed wood furniture company, What We Make (WWM), today announced the company’s summer Open House and Pop-In-Shop for Saturday, June 13th from 2pm – 8pm at The Barn located at 115 Mill Ave. Hampshire, IL.
The event will showcase current furniture for sale as well as goods featured by local artists’ including Mish-Mosh Paper and Clay. Live music by the local band The Cryin’ Side of Town will play from 4pm-7pm, and there will be light bites with beer and wine provided.
“This Summer Open House event is important to us to share our beautifully crafted, reclaimed wood furniture with the local Chicago-land community. Since we do not have a traditional storefront and primarily sell online, this special community event will allow us to show customers where we create each piece of furniture in our shop - first hand. We want to have a stronger local presence, and continue to spread our passion about buying local, eco-friendly, finely crafted goods,” said Dan Quinn, President of What We Make.
By inviting the community inside the shop, guests will have the opportunity to meet the What We Make team, and enjoy a tour of the shop where the furniture is built. The event is open to the public and is expected to attract around 150 guests.
WWM is a fast growing company that has already doubled the square footage of the shop, and recently brought on two new full-time employees, since opening in 2013 to keep up with demand. Revenue is expected to surpass $200,000 in 2015, after topping $100,000 just last year.
