When you have an emergency situation with your plumbing it can often be a stressful time. Some people worry about finding a company they can trust to fix the problem correctly, on time, with upfront and StraightForward Pricing®. Residents in Dallas have consistently trusted Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for their plumbing repairs, maintenance and replacements. The company was recently chosen as one of the finalists for the 15th Annual Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award given by The Better Business Bureau of Dallas and Northeast Texas.
“Our entire team is committed to providing the best service to our customers each day. It begins with a commitment to high ethical standards that we transfer into everything we do. It is an honor to be recognized,” said Keresa Richardson who independently owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing serving the greater Dallas area with her husband J.R. Richardson.
The application process for the ethics award is very stringent. Hundreds of businesses apply, but only six companies were chosen as finalists. According to the Better Business Bureau, the award recognizes local companies that have made a commitment to ethics in their business operations, management philosophies, and when dealing with crises or challenges. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing had to submit pages of documentation detailing their ethics plan, examples of how they put it into action, how they communicate and train their employees on ethics and summaries on real world ethical challenges they have faced. A panel of judges from business, academia and previous award winners, reviewed the applications this year and then a team of students from Austin College, SMU and the University of Dallas also did site visits and interviews with the finalist companies. Companies must have a rating of B+ or above to qualify.
