Greenberg Traurig’s Meital Stavinsky Co-Chairs Entrepreneurs On Tap Meeting Series
MIAMI, Fla. (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- Meital Stavinsky, a shareholder in the Government Law and Policy and Israel practices at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., will serve as Co-Chair for the Entrepreneurs on Tap program – a series of quarterly meetings presented by the American Friends of Tel Aviv University.
The first meeting of this series will be held Tuesday, May 5, at 6 p.m., in conjunction with eMerge Americas 2015 Conference in Miami Beach, for which Greenberg Traurig is a founding sponsor.

The innovation of Israeli start-ups will be showcased during eMerge 2015 at the Israel pavilion. Stavinsky also serves on the Smart Cities Advisory Board.
According to a survey conducted by the Seattle-based venture capital research fund PitchBook, Tel Aviv University is the ninth most entrepreneurial campus in the world. The survey was conducted on approximately 13,000 entrepreneurs from around the world, finding that Tel Aviv ranks ninth for the amount of alumni that go on to become entrepreneurs.
The 2015 eMerge Americas conference is taking place May 1-5 in Miami Beach, Florida and will focus on innovators and entrepreneurs, providing an opportunity for both start-up and growth companies to network with investors.
At Greenberg Traurig, Stavinsky focuses her practice on government relations. She primarily advises Agtech, and Cleantech companies in the areas of renewable energy, transportation and infrastructure, energy efficiency, water and waste treatment, green materials and green buildings. As the coordinator of the firm’s Israel practice, Stavinsky assists Israeli companies seeking to enter the U.S. market and expand their operations in the States.
Stavinsky often serves as a speaker at conferences and seminars in the United States and Israel on GreenTech, Agtech and Israel-related matters. She is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Stavinsky received a Bachelor of Law degree, as well as a Master of Law degree in Computer and Internet Law, from Tel Aviv University.
