Ecommerce leader announces Volusion for Wear app, allows merchants to connect with their store like never before

Volusion, the leading ecommerce provider for small and medium businesses, today announced the release of its new Volusion for Wear app, which enables merchants to manage their store directly from their smartwatch. The app, which is compatible with Android smartwatches, can now be downloaded on Google Play. Volusion Wear is part of a larger release of mobile features from the ecommerce provider, including updated native iOS and Android apps that enhance store management capabilities.

Volusion for Wear is a free app for Android smartwatches, and offers quick insights into the status of a Volusion store. The app allows merchants to review important store activities, such as new, processing and shipped orders, as well as the ability to view a stores’ total sales for the last 24 hours, seven days, and ninety days. The app also provides push notifications to alert Volusion merchants of new orders and provides order details in real-time. Beyond reviewing new orders, the Volusion for Wear app provides inventory alerts when the stock status of a product is running low.

Volusion also recently released the third version of their native iOS and Android app, which provides increased functionality so merchants can more easily manage their online store around the clock. New features include the ability to direct add new products and edit existing product details, secure login using iPhone’s Touch ID technology, and enhanced shipping tools.
