Author Plynn Gutman Announces Your Journal Companion Club and Giveaway
Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- Plynn Gutman, author of recently released Your Journal Companion: 365 Writing Prompts to Heighten Awareness of Self and Others (ISBN #: 978-0-9904646-1-7) today announced the launch of the first Journaling Club called Your Journal Companion Club.
Your Journal Companion offers interesting information on brain function and shares easy instruction on key writing techniques. The author-hosted Your Journal Companion Club will meet once weekly for 6 weeks beginning in June with the purpose of exploring new techniques and benefits of journal writing in an open forum, small group setting.
10 spaces are available for the first session of the club with Ms. Gutman, however readers and journalers also have the opportunity to download a YJC Club Guide e-book that can be used to moderate separate, similar clubs. Plynn Gutman’s hosted journaling club will meet every Tuesday night at 9pm EST beginning June 23rd for 6 sessions.
Plynn says, “I envision Your Journal Companion Clubs as journaling support groups. Members can practice techniques, discuss challenges they have with the process, share insights and encourage one another to develop a regular writing habit. Some clubs will use their time to write together, others may choose to share how journaling has helped them over the past week. Each will have its unique energy and focus, while always remaining respectful that journaling is a deeply private process and should be held sacred and confidential by its members.”
Journaling is a unique experience and bringing it into a group setting promises to be rewarding. In addition to signing up for Plynn’s club, or moderating your own club, all RSVP sign ups are entered to win a Your Journal Companion Club Journaling Pack, containing 5 signed copies of Your Journal Companion, 5 journal and pen sets, 5 free downloads of the YJC App (available on iTunes and at GooglePlay). There will be 2 Grand Prize winners chosen at random and announced on May 18th and June 11th, 2015.
