The Florida Comprehensive Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders Center at Florida Hospital Tampa has been recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by unpredictable seizures and can cause other health problems. It is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the U.S. and affects people of all ages.

It is estimated that 1 in 100 people worldwide have epilepsy, which is why advanced centers such as Florida Hospital Tampa’s are so important.
