Jimmy Mooney, an Addiction Treatment Veteran, Named Vice President of Business Development at MAP Health Management, LLC
Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 05, 2015 -- MAP Health Management, LLC, a provider of outcome data, aftercare programs and revenue cycle management for addiction treatment facilities, announced today that Jimmy Mooney has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Mooney, who has more than 35 years of experience in the addiction treatment field, will be responsible for developing new strategic partnerships with substance abuse facilities to expand market distribution of MAP’s core products and new initiatives.
Prior to joining MAP, Mr. Mooney was CEO and Chairman of the Board at Willingway Hospital, an addiction treatment facility in Statesboro, Ga., which was founded by his parents, Dr. John and Dot Mooney, in 1971. Mooney took the leadership helm in 1996, and for the past 17 years, he positioned Willingway as one of the most well-respected alcohol and drug treatment centers in the country. Before becoming CEO, he served in various positions at the facility, including Director of Finance, Administrator responsible for the overall operation and Director of Marketing.

Mr. Mooney was the recipient of the Evolution of Addiction Treatment’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015, which recognized Willingway and the Mooney family for their commitment to helping countless alcoholics and addicts, as well as their families, find lasting recovery from the devastating effects of addiction. In 2013, he received the Georgia House of Representatives’ HR 183 Recognition of Lifetime Achievement, and in 2012, he received the Georgia Hospital’s Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in helping alcoholics and addicts establish sobriety.
