(PRWEB) May 05, 2015
Arts Brookfield, acclaimed for presenting hundreds of exciting cultural experiences for free worldwide on behalf of its parent company Brookfield, and Phil & Co., the New York City marketing and communications agency, announce they will participate in the 2015 Cause Marketing Forum (CMF) in Chicago, May 27-28. Arts Brookfield’s global Art Set Free campaign, created by Phil & Co. to raise awareness and understanding of the Arts Brookfield brand and mission in celebration of the program’s 25th anniversary, will be showcased at the conference, themed “Where Purpose Meets Profit.”
Debra Simon, vice president and artistic director of Arts Brookfield, Brookfield, will join a panel about the expanding role, definition and non-traditional applications of cause marketing. Simon, who will explain why Brookfield values Arts Brookfield from a business perspective, will discuss the impact of Art Set Free in raising awareness about Arts Brookfield and engaging its global audiences. Moderated by Cliff Sloan, principal at Phil & Co., the panel, entitled Trend Track: The Expanding World of Cause, will also feature Jessie Brumbach, chief brand officer of Home Instead Senior Care, and Daniel Dejan, North American ETC Print/Creative Manager of Sappi Fine Paper, who will speak about their companies’ cause marketing initiatives.
Additionally, Art Set Free will be the theme of the two-day Forum’s opening night party, sponsored by Arts Brookfield and Phil & Co. The party will feature live music by Gentleman’s Rule, a seven-man a cappella group based in Chicago that participated in Art Set Free, as well as selected artwork and videos from the campaign.
Phil & Co. and Arts Brookfield join Disney, JetBlue, New Balance, Samuel Adams, Johnson & Johnson, The American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Club of America and many other sponsors and supporters at the event. Phil & Co. has been the official creative agency for CMF since 2014, developing digital and print advertising, logos and collateral for the event.
In its first year, Art Set Free helped Arts Brookfield assemble one of the world’s largest online showcases of free public art, drawing 31,000 digital submissions from 111 countries. The campaign reached more than 5.4 million social media followers and dramatically increased Arts Brookfield’s audience online. Arts Brookfield’s Facebook following increased by 518%, Twitter by 127% and Instagram by 418%.
Art Set Free, which also became the #1 driver of traffic to ArtsBrookfield.com, was featured in Stuart Elliott’s column in the New York Times and cited for creative excellence in Internet Advertising by the American Graphic Design and Advertising Awards. Public relations placements generated over 40 million impressions worldwide, with an estimated value of $2.5 million.
To participate in the user-generated Art Set Free campaign, amateur, emerging and established artists around the world (including target Brookfield markets: New York, Houston, Denver, Los Angeles, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth) submitted their art by using #artsetfree on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
