Transportation Sector Consultants, Inc. (TSC), a leading provider of innovative consulting and management solutions to school districts, has added two school transportation industry veterans and one longtime educator as new members to its Advisory Board. Richard Jacobs, Robert Pudlewski and Dr. Jerry Bartee have each agreed to serve on the newly formed Board and will look to use their expertise to assist TSC’s growing school district customers.
“We are excited to welcome Rich, Bob and Jerry to TSC. Each brings vast knowledge and expertise in pupil transportation which will be very beneficial to our customers.” stated Pete Pearson, President of TSC. “These are great initial additions to the growing team of Advisory Board members that we are building. We will continue to add qualified members to assist school transportation officials with the many challenges affecting their operations. This is a critical time for school district business officials and administrators to take advantage of the innovation and technology that is available without incurring large scale purchases.”
Pearson concluded by stating, “Our operation and routing efficiencies audit to reduce vehicles and cost is an easy way to begin with us. Implementing our state-of-the-art driver safety and training programs to ensure compliance is a must today as is managing various key performance indicators. Our innovative fleet management programs and on board technology we provide can dramatically reduce costs. Lastly, parents and government regulators today are calling for the growing use of alternative fuel vehicles. TSC provides low cost lease to own options without capital or bond referendums for alternative fuel vehicles that improve the environment around our schools and in our communities. That’s an attainable goal for many districts that have aging fleets.”

He began his career at Boston Public Schools as a teacher from 1974-1978 and then served in the Transportation Department as a Transportation Planner and Assistant Director.
