New Book, ‘Spirituality in the 21st Century,’ Offers Down-To-Earth Approach
Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 06, 2015 -- Frank P. Daversa’s new book, "Spirituality in the 21st Century," takes an in-depth look at the transcendent in order to help readers enhance their understanding of spirituality, life and the world.
“Spirituality in the 21st Century” focuses on how spirituality is central to our growth as human beings. As such, it covers many topics, from belief in God to spiritual paths and from truth to spiritual awareness.
“For most of us, spirituality in the 21st Century means judging every word you read – whether it’s my book or someone else’s book – for yourself,” says Daversa, a detail-oriented computer-science graduate with many years of experience in the corporate world. His spiritual journey was prompted by a serious illness in 1997.
“In ‘Spirituality in the 21st Century,’ there are no parables, dogma or metaphors here – just straight talk. Readers will find a down-to-earth approach for understanding spiritual knowledge.”
In his book, readers will also discover Daversa’s five principles of spiritual enlightenment and learn about default spiritual paths and what they mean to you. Also covered is:
• The difference between your wants and your needs
• Better understand the five C's of relationships
• Knowing how to experience oneness
• Spiritual truths, passive vs. proactive lessons, and tolerance
• Exploring three spiritual lessons the Earth needs to learn in the 21st century.
Daversa also makes readers aware of the challenges that may weaken our spirits and describes how to conquer them. For example, he contends there are three critical lessons Earth needs to overcome in this century: global warming, overpopulation and environmental degradation. He also lays out a blueprint for successful, long-term relationships.
