Mid-Atlantic Agents, a veteran, expert sales representation group based in Downingtown, Pa., will assume responsibility on behalf of PDQ Manufacturing this month for several key eastern seaboard states. The group will handle all sales representation duties in the territory composed of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey south of Trenton, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia.

Headed by President Ed Linaugh and Vice President Richard Manly, the Mid-Atlantic team also includes Roger Sorensen, Steve Pitt, Brian Quinter and Jean Marie George. Together they bring to PDQ exceptional, in-depth product knowledge and long tenure in the industry. The group is actively engaged with specification writing, working closely as “that trusted hardware consultant” advising owners, architects, end users and contract hardware distributors.

“We’re very happy to be working with PDQ,” Linaugh said. “Their quality is superb, and they have all the certifications needed to be competitive. Perhaps most of all, we’ll be able to work with them in providing a competitive independent package of builder’s hardware that enables our customers to remain independent.”

“PDQ is very excited to bring Mid-Atlantic Agents on board in our critical home territory,” said Bob Hasty, PDQ’s Vice President, Marketing. “This is a firm that combines diversity with in-depth product knowledge. They also have excellent existing contacts with architects and others in the design and construction communities. We project them as a big part of our growth in the months and years ahead.”
