Massachusetts APSE is a state chapter of APSE (Association For Persons in Supported Employment). It is the only organization in Massachusetts whose sole mission is to promote employment for People with Disabilities.

Nominated by American Training, Progressive Gourmet was recognized Employer of the year by the state chapter of National APSE during the 4th annual Employment Matters Conference, held Wednesday April 29th at the College of Holy Cross.

Progressive Gourmet shares Massachusetts APSE’s vision that people with all types of disabilities become employed, pursuing careers and building assets just like people without disabilities. That is why, for the past 16 months, Progressive Gourmet has routinely welcomed people from American Training to work in the plant. "It has been a mutually beneficial arrangement, and we look forward to a long and rewarding partnership" said Rich Foster, CEO of Progressive Gourmet.

American Training, Inc. is dedicated to providing services to people with disabilities, youth, youth-at-risk, the unemployed, the underemployed and lifelong adult learners. They offer a complete line of services for their Guests, Students, and Residents enabling them to participate in the community with dignity and productivity.
