Florida Hospital and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Celebrate “Bucs Babies” Who are Turning One this Month with a Party on the Pirate Ship
(PRWEB) May 06, 2015 -- As the exclusive hospital of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Florida Hospital hosted a special party on the Pirate Ship at Raymond James Stadium for all the “Bucs Babies” celebrating their first birthday. These babies were the first to be drafted into the “Bucs Babies” program last year.
“It is always rewarding and special to spend time with children, particularly those born at the Florida Hospitals here in our community, who are growing up to be Buccaneers fans. I really enjoyed my time participating in the festivities, interacting with the Bucs Babies that were celebrating their first birthday, as well as their parents and siblings. Hopefully it was a memorable experience for all involved,” said Charles Sims, Tampa Bay Buccaneer Running Back.
The birthday party included exclusive access opportunities, face painting, balloons, with appearances from the Buccaneers staff, players and cheerleaders and, of course, Captain Fear. Publix supplied special cupcakes and Florida Hospital presented families with a gift and special photo opportunities.
“It was great to see so many of our Bucs Babies’ families come out to Raymond James Stadium to have fun with the entire family and celebrate their little rookie’s 1st birthday. Creating lifelong memories is something that we look to achieve through our relationship with the Buccaneers organization, and hosting the first ever Bucs Babies party we accomplished that together,” said Mike Fox, Assistant Director of Sports Partnerships at Florida Hospital.
Now, for the second consecutive year, all babies born this month, at Florida Hospital will be presented with custom Bucs Babies and official “training camp” gear. The Bucs Babies program is a club created for the tiniest Buccaneers fans. This year, newborns and families will receive an official Bucs Babies blanket, baby hat, and “training camp” gear that includes health and wellness items from the Bucs Partners, C1 Bank and Proctor & Gamble. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will offer each family a chance to experience their first Buccaneers game with pre-season game tickets.
The Bucs Babies program will be offered at Florida Hospitals in the greater Tampa Bay area including: Florida Hospital Tampa, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, Florida Hospital North Pinellas and Florida Hospital Carrollwood.
The Bucs Babies “training camp” gear, featuring health and wellness items is sponsored by Florida Hospital, Centra Care, Proctor & Gamble and C1 Bank. In addition to the Bucs baby hat and blanket, the training camp gear will include health and wellness materials, first aid kit, baby wipes, coupons from Proctor & Gamble and a C1 Bank $25 dollar saving account certificate. The program will last the entire month of May.
