Turkish Airlines Introduces Redesigned and Upgraded Passenger Amenity Kits
New York (PRWEB) May 08, 2015 -- Turkish Airlines is continuing to raise the bar for U.S. travelers’ inflight experience with the introduction of new amenity kits featuring specially-designed products by luxury designer brands in both economy and business class. The new kits, expected to be phased in over the next year and a half, will be featured on inbound and outbound flights to the U.S. Select short haul flights, which include some of the 268 connections that Turkish offers to 109 countries via its Istanbul hub, will also see the upgraded kits as part of its Business Class service.
U.S. flights departing from Turkish Airlines’ seven U.S. destinations that include flights from New York, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. (Dulles), Los Angeles and Houston will see the kits on board flights over the coming months. In addition, children flying on long haul flights in either class will be provided with the Miles & Smiles Amenity Kit designed especially for Turkish Airlines youngest travelers that includes an amenity bag, slippers, headphones and select toiletries.
“In redesigning our amenity kits, we wanted to keep all of our passengers in mind. For U.S. travelers, this means designing a kit that helps them re-imagine what the international travel experience should be,” said Turkish Airlines. “We also worked to create inflight products that kept quality in mind, while ensuring the functionality existed to allow passengers to carry their travel experience home with them and reuse their amenity kits.”
