Head Tennis Professional Wins Two Prestigious Awards from United States Professional Tennis Association
Naples, Florida (PRWEB) May 08, 2015 -- Quail Creek Country Club is pleased to announce that head pro Jose Pastrello won two prestigious awards from the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA). Pastrello won the USPTA Florida District Professional of the Year and the District of the Year Award. Pastrello is the President of the USPTA’s Bonita District.
The awards will be presented during the USPTA convention scheduled for May 27 – 31, 2015 at Naples Beach & Golf Club. Bob Magrann, Quail Creek Country Club president, states, “Jose is one of those rare individuals whose amazing athletic talents are exceeded by his impressive skills at teaching the game of tennis and providing meaningful leadership to young potentials of the game.”
In 2001, Pastrello moved to the U.S. for a tennis scholarship to St. Leo University, where he was ranked number one in singles and doubles. In 2005, he graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Business Management. As a member of the FGCU tennis team, Pastrello was ranked number seven in NCAA’s Division 2 for doubles, giving the school its highest team ranking in history.
Pastrello also has extensive teaching experience, providing individual and group instruction for children and adults in both the U.S. and Brazil during the past 13 years.
