The Epstein School Honors Greenberg Traurig’s Ted Blum for Dedication to Education
ATLANTA (PRWEB) May 07, 2015 -- Ted Blum, co-managing shareholder of the Atlanta office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was honored Sunday night during The Epstein School’s Annual Celebration at the InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead. Blum and his wife Leah were recognized for their years of dedication and service to the school, and for their commitment to Epstein’s mission of providing excellence in education to the Atlanta community. As part of the celebration, the Blums were presented with a proclamation by Atlanta City Council President Caesar Mitchell.
The firm extended its support as title sponsor of the event, while Greenberg Traurig Vice President and Co-Managing Shareholder Ernest Greer and Shareholder Gary Snyder served as honorary event chairs.
Greer said, “The efforts of Ted and his family for the Atlanta community are year-round, and though they do not seek recognition for their actions, they are certainly worthy of it. Ted is a leader in every sense, and he continues to make a positive impact at the firm, at Epstein, and elsewhere in the community.”

Education is one of the primary platforms Blum supports through both professional and philanthropic endeavors. In addition to his work with Epstein, Blum serves on the board of trustees for Junior Achievement, is chairman of the Chick-fil-A Foundation’s Advisory Board supporting youth education, and supports JA Biztown, a financial literacy and work readiness education program for middle school students.
The Epstein School is one of the top independent Jewish day schools in the nation and has a long and established history of national recognition for educational excellence and innovation. In 2005, the school was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an Education Innovator.
