Using Hotelogix Cloud PMS, Students Train in New Technology at Canadian Tourism & Hospitality Institute (CTHI), Philippines
Philippines (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- Together with technical training and 24x7 support from Hotelogix, CTHI has implemented the system to equip its students with higher awareness of new-age technology. This is aligned with CTHI’s commitment of mentoring students for leadership positions in the global tourism industry. Hotelogix is a leading provider of cloud-based hospitality solutions, used by properties in over 75 countries.
Mabeth Quirante, Lecturer & Career Assistance Officer at CTHI welcomes the move. She says: “Hotelogix PMS will encourage advanced technical skills among students entering the hospitality workforce. Since these professionals of tomorrow will have trained using a premier cloud system, they will set foot in the industry more confidently and prepared.”
Mabeth also endorses Hotelogix PMS to be used by other hospitality institutes to train their staff and students. “I personally think Hotelogix is an ideal product, especially for schools as it provides all the fundamentals of what a hospitality student should learn for Reservations, Front Desk, Housekeeping and F&B - POS functions. Our students are actually having fun using it - they get to feel how it is to be a Front Office agent.”
Hotelogix’s ability to provide best-in-breed user functionality along with centralized management from any location made it the natural choice to include as course study at the Institute. “Since Hotelogix is web based, our students and I can work on required exercises at any time and any place that has internet access,” says Mabeth.
CTHI has implemented Hotelogix in its Diploma, Certificate and Professional Development courses. The staff and students will have real-time access to Hotelogix’s support team to stay up-to-date with any new features and get their queries answered.
CEO & Co-Founder of Hotelogix, Aditya Sanghi says: “We are delighted that the Canadian Tourism & Hospitality Institute has chosen to work with Hotelogix and we look forward to supporting them with our property management system. Our system will offer the Institute a strategic tool that will play a key role in equipping the upcoming professionals with essential technological skills.”
CTHI is the second training institution after New Brunswick Community College, Canada to select Hotelogix PMS for student training.
