KMSC Law Welcomes Gareth Pugh as a New Partner of the Firm
Grande Prairie, AB (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- The law firm KMSC Law LLP based in Grande Prairie, Alberta is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Gareth Pugh, who is currently the newest partner within the firm. After growing up in Grande Prairie, earning a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Alberta, and completing his legal studies in 2012, Gareth Pugh completed his articles at KMSC Law LLP. In 2013, Gareth was called to the bar and was practicing as an Associate at KMSC Law until most recently becoming a partner of the law firm.
Gareth Pugh practices in several areas of law including corporate and commercial law, employment law, estate planning and administration, commercial and residential real estate, and general litigation. He has appeared on behalf of clients in the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta. Gareth enjoys community involvement. During law school he sat on the executive board for Student Legal Services of Edmonton. He currently volunteers with Grande Prairie Legal Guidance where he assists low income members of the community with legal issues and in the past he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Currently, he teaches the Business Law course at the Grande Prairie Regional College and is an instructor at the Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning. Gareth has conducted several seminars to the public regarding various legal topics such as estate planning, real estate law, and landlord and tenant law. Gareth was also recently elected to the Board of Directors with the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta. In his spare time, Gareth enjoys spending time with his young family.
