Converge Consulting celebrates four years of service on May 11, 2015. Founded in 2011, the company has spent the past four years working with colleges and universities on inbound marketing.

Founder and CEO, Ann Oleson realized that higher education’s marketing practices were no longer working. Converge started with a blank piece of paper as a business model. The firm identified higher education’s biggest challenges and placed their focus on what’s new and next in marketing.

“Helping colleges to effectively recruit students through inbound marketing was the driver,” says Oleson. “Bringing new and next ideas to the marketplace is exciting, and providing that type of thought leadership to our vertical is an important part of who we are and the services that we provide.”

Doubling in size each year since inception, Converge continues to see incredible progress and rapid growth in the higher education industry. Already in 2015, the firm has opened a new office location in Denver, Colorado and welcomed clients from prestigious colleges and universities like Tulane University in New Orleans, American University in Washington D.C. and University of Arizona in Tuscan.

“Converge has over 100 clients across the United States and in Canada and China,” says Oleson. “Our goal is to continue to provide the most innovative ideas for our clients by showing them best practices and how those new marketing strategies can apply to higher education.”

In 2014, Converge hosted a national inbound marketing conference with over 150 attendees in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference drew faculty and staff from schools like Syracuse Law, Columbia College, Boston University and University of California.

This year, the firm is hosting its second annual inbound marketing conference for higher education and anticipates an even higher attendance rate. Converge 2015 will be held on October 21-22 in New Orleans, Louisiana. For more information, visit the conference website.
