Menaji Men’s Skincare Launches MENAJI FOR PROFESSIONALS Program to Hollywood TV/Movie Make-Up Artists
HOLLYWOOD, CA (PRWEB) May 11, 2015 -- Menaji, a CT-based men’s skincare company best known for undetectable professional-grade men’s concealers and anti-shine powder, launched its brand to more than 100 members of the IATSE, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, on April 26, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA. The launch was held at the IATSE Local #706 branch’s once-monthly Craft Meeting, a forum for professional TV/Film/Theater make up artists to review the newest and best product lines for their work on sets with talent.
Menaji was developed by a professional make-up artist to provide superlative, undetectable coverage for men, discreetly and easily. Menaji was one of six brands presented but took center stage for its specifically-targeted male demographic.
Menaji COO Pamela Viglielmo presented the Menaji for Professionals program, and some of the products available such as the Menaji’s Urban Camo, HDPV Anti-Shine, 911 Eye Gel, as well as kits such as the Quick Fix that contains ClearShave Gel, 911 and Camo to Hollywood make-up artists who would use them on sets of upcoming films and TV shows for touch-ups and off-site media interviews.
"Our members are very excited about Menaji! There is nothing like it in their (TV/Film/Theater) set kits and they cannot wait to use the products on male clients. It is about time that they have products designed for a man's skin and a man's complexion issues. Everyone wants to be camera-ready, whether they are (actually going to be) on camera, heading off to a call or just sending a selfie. Menaji is certainly in the right place at the right time!" said Sue Cabral-Ebert, President of IATSE Local #706 and a 40-year-plus professional in the make up industry in Hollywood.
Viglielmo said it is absolutely imperative that people distinguish the difference between male and female skin (even if only to address that men’s skin is thicker, oilier and dryer), and to discover the brands on the market that bridge the gap between professional grade and commercial.
“This is the top of the food chain when it comes to knowing how to make people look gorgeous and young. The IATSE has been around for more than 100 years and is the go-to source for the pros,” Viglielmo said. “Products must deliver hydration, penetration and coverage in the most effective and quickest of ways. It was a great accomplishment for Menaji to have impressed such a knowledgeable and impactful group.”

About IATSE
The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, its Territories and Canada was founded in 1893 when representatives of stagehands working in eleven cities met in New York and pledged to support each other's efforts to establish fair wages and working conditions for their members. Our union has evolved to embrace the development of new entertainment mediums, craft expansion, technological innovation and geographic growth.
Today, more than 120,000 members work in all forms of live theater, motion picture and television production, trade shows and exhibitions, television broadcasting, and concerts as well as the equipment and construction shops that support all these areas of the entertainment industry. We represent virtually all the behind-the-scenes workers in crafts ranging from motion picture animator to theater usher.
