Dacor®, manufacturer of ultra-premium kitchen appliances, is pleased to announce it is the official appliance sponsor for the internationally-recognized 2015 Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Decorator Show House. Featuring fine furnishings, art, technology and a new Dacor kitchen, guests will pay to tour the Arthur Sachs Mansion in New York City’s iconic Lenox Hill neighborhood with proceeds benefiting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.

Since 1915, Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has helped more than 11,000 young people who have been economically, socially or recreationally disadvantaged in the New York City neighborhoods. Since its inception, the show house has raised more than $19 million for New York City youth.

“For the past 50 years, our company has focused on developing innovations that matter to the future of cooking,” said Dacor President Steve Joseph. “We feel privileged to be part of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club Decorator Show House because helping and supporting the next generation is part of our mission.”

The Kips Bay kitchen was designed by Christopher Peacock, Master Kitchen Designer and Cabinet Maker. Known for creating beautiful spaces for discerning clientele inside the most luxurious private estates across the globe, Christopher is a leader in the design community. The kitchen inside the Kips Bay show house features several Dacor products, including the Discovery iQ™ 30-inch Wall Oven. Introduced in 2011, the Discovery® series of kitchen appliances were the first to integrate Android technology. This smart kitchen technology enables users to customize their cooking experiences. More than 15,000 guests are expected to tour the show house located at 58 East 66th Street in Manhattan. The show house will be open to the public from May 14 – June 11, 2015.

Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art, and technology. This event began in 1973 when several dedicated supporters of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club launched the Decorator Show House to raise critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children.
