Hilton Head, SC (PRWEB) May 10, 2015
Sitting at her writing desk, looking out over Dolphin Head Beach on Hilton Head, SC, Catherine Wayland puts pen to paper to reach a global audience of families. After 9 years of development, Wayland re-launches her family ezine of International Family Magazine.
"People kept emailing me, asking me why the ezine wasn't updated," Wayland said.
Wayland admits that her own family life of raising her two sons as a newly single parent slowed down production of writing for the families of the world. "But then, suddenly one day, I realized that as my own immediate family had changed and shrunk, my global family at IF mag was a steady source of support, and it was time to re-launch."
So, for May 2015, Wayland re-launched her ezine. Some things will stay the same: the menu of choices to read about families around the world and families here in the United States that are redefining their roles.
In her new role as a single parent, Wayland feels that single parents, divorced families, and blended families need a growing source of stories to help them on this journey, to share time online together and even laugh together. The ezine will still look to put together stories on entertainment, education and travel, which are all topics of interest for families everywhere.
"Hopefully, IF mag will continue to be a global hub, " Wayland said.
