American Aerospace Controls Inc. (AAC) today announced that it has received the Boeing Supplier Performance Excellence Award for 2014. This is the fifth consecutive year that ACC has won the award. While several hundred companies earn this award each year, only a few dozen have won five years in a row. In addition, AAC was one of a handful also nominated as “Supplier of the Year”.
Kevin McBrien, AAC’s Vice-President of Sales said, “We’re very proud to receive this recognition from Boeing of our commitment to on-time delivery, quality and reliability.” He added that “We value our relationship, which has spanned decades, with such a pre-eminent aerospace company.”
More recently, AAC has been providing current and voltage sensors for a number of key Boeing programs including the CH-47 “Chinook”, the AH-64 “Apache” and the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle. AAC’s sensors are, by design, more reliable, more accurate and have no impact on the system being monitored, unlike traditional measurement devices.
