Sevatec Continues Expansion, Names Marc Arendt as Senior Director of Business Development and Cyber Solutions

(Sevatec), a leading provider of software, data and cyber technology solutions and consulting services for the federal government, announced today that it has hired Marc Arendt as Senior Director of Business Development and Cyber Solutions. In this capacity, Marc will expand Sevatec’s cyber security presence across the federal government.

Marc has over 23 years of federal sales, business development, and management experience focused on supporting IT security solutions for federal agencies and systems integrators. He brings to Sevatec a considerable depth of expertise and experience in the areas of cyber security, cloud computing, enterprise software and infrastructure, unified networking and storage solutions, and mobile technology solutions.
Prior to joining Sevatec, Marc served as the Director of Business Development for Cyber Security at Blue Canopy Group where he successfully expanded the company’s cyber security consulting practice at the Department of Treasury, Small Business Administration, Consumer Financial Protection Board, and the Internal Revenue Service. Marc also previously served as a Senior Client Executive at Verisign, where he was responsible for cyber business development at federal agencies including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Treasury, National Archives and Records Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Marc holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Oregon.
