The team received two awards at the ceremonies held in Chicago May 8, 2015. The awards follow the Chicago Headline Club recognition of Rivet Radio last year as the “Best Start-Up” of 2014.
The annual Peter Lisagor Awards honor outstanding reporting by leading Chicago journalists. Rivet Radio received the following awards:
