The students will learn about CompTIA A+, a vendor neutral program that teaches students the fundamentals of computer hardware and software installations.

This course is a great entry point for the students to pursue a career in IT.

Unitek Education, an award winning training provider, has teamed up with The Boys and Girls Club of America on a mission to teach High School students the fundamentals of IT. The students will learn the skills and knowledge needed to troubleshoot computer hardware and software installations. Upon completion of the course, students will complete the CompTIA A+ exam – a benchmark certification in the IT industry. This certification can provide students with many new career opportunities in the Information Technology sector.
