With FluentU for iPhone, learners can immerse themselves in a language and culture no matter where they are.
(PRWEB) May 28, 2015
Language learning company FluentU announced the release of its companion iPhone app for its popular web app. FluentU for iPhone is a new way to learn languages with real-world videos like music videos, movie trailers, news, and inspiring talks.
FluentU takes fun videos and turns them into language learning experiences. Users can watch and understand videos with interactive captions that put useful information at their fingertips. Each video also comes with engaging language learning lessons and video flashcards. Learning also becomes more efficient with spaced repetition and personalization.
“The most difficult part of learning a language is motivation. With FluentU for iPhone, learners can immerse themselves in a language and culture no matter where they are,” said FluentU Founder & CEO Alan Park. “We’re excited to help learners fall in love with the language and culture that they're learning.”
FluentU (iOS 7 and later) will be available for download on May 28 at 9AM EDT at the iTunes Store. FluentU is free to download and use, but access to premium content requires upgrading to a premium plan. FluentU is available for learning Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and English.
School features for assignments and progress tracking will also become available in the next few months.
